Southwest Water & Electric Energy Powers (SWEEP) is committed to finding residential and commercial power solutions while reducing emissions of greenhouse gases and carbon. The ‘Independence Home System’ (IHS), a solid-state, semiconductor generator, packaged with options such as diurnal Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) and water maker is the best new technology option. This system delivers clean, reliable and cost-effective onsite power generation to residential and small commercial customers. Our IHS will meet and exceed renewable energy requirements for residential electrification at the 5-kW level, which will entitle homeowners in some states up to a 100% rebate after installing our product. We also provide customers an option to purchase HVAC, hot water, and pure drinking water produced onsite.
SWEEP is committed to providing:
· renewable electric energy initially in California, New Jersey, New York and states that have offered substantial official rebate programs, where an economical means of providing reliable, affordable, renewable, pollution-free, on-sight power is needed. With the ultimate focus being worldwide.
· a system that stores and transforms heat directly into electricity.
· the “Independence Home System” (IHS), which produces ample power to run a typical single-family residence, with excess electricity from the system benefiting commercial users and the community as a whole by contributing to support the grid during peak periods. (See "mock" brochure)
· an optional IHS variant offering the consumer free HVAC, hot water, and pure drinking water that can be harvested from air, onsite. This variant makes use of the same infrastructure and value-adds to the installed base as well as all future applications.
SWEEP manufactures and distributes the Independence Home System, providing families security through independent, on site electric power and water production. The system is fueled by any liquid, gaseous or solid fuel. This semiconductor, solid-state generator and diurnal water maker provides independent electric power, potable water, air conditioning and heating through one external centralized unit. The system utilizes the most innovative technology currently being developed to deliver clean, reliable, efficient and cost-effective, decentralized onsite power generation and potable water.
Competition
There are over 90 companies listed in California alone that
specialize in photo-voltaic systems. As a generality, a 5kW-peak turn-key photovoltaic system costs approximately $38K, with roughly half that cost covered by the Renewable Energy Rebate. It appears that the number of companies offering solid-state power generators are far fewer. SWEEP will be able to lease similar systems for $19K, depending on the method of installation. While initial production is not a problem, areas being considered include installation and distribution and leasing of systems. The main components of the system include the generator, the inserter/inverter, and control panel.
Many companies offer to accept the rebate as a “down-payment” against the total cost of the system, and may offer low-cost financing for the rest. Given qualification for the CEC Rebate, SWEEP should be able to offer a net-zero cost system. It will require consideration as to whether SWEEP can and will accept such rebate against the SWEEP lease program.
